1963 Jaguar Series 1 XK-E

The Jaguar E-Type, or in the Americas known as the XK-E, is a British sports car known for a combination of its beauty, high performance, and competitive pricing. The E-Type was based off of Jaguar's D-Type race-car which won the 24 Hours of Le Mans three years in a row. With no ladder frame chassis the first E-series Jaguars ran in at around 2,900 lbs. The Daily Telegraph voted the Jaguar XK-E as #1 in their list of '100 of the world's most beautiful cars'. Although I may not agree with that statement (they may have forgotten about some of the earlier 356s and 911s!) the XK-E is a beautiful car.
